The Great Dane, Full Tilt Pro Gus Hansen, was on hand last night to wrap up 카지노 XIII by hosting the $500 + $35 Main Event. He was joined by 5,305 other players trying for their piece of the whopping $2.5 million guarantee ($2,653,000 total prize pool). In this mix of players were more than 50 additional members of Team Full Tilt, all with their eyes on the final table. Unfortunately for the Team, none were able to make it past 44th place, where Diego Cordovez finished for a prize of $5,306.
In all, 720 spots would get paid, with the minimum prize being $795.90. Over $450k was set aside for the Main Event winner. Although deals have been prevalent throughout this year’s FTOPS, the final two players, Poligraph and Inoriisss failed to negotiate a deal.
Just a few moments after play resumed, Inoriisss found himself all-in and in pretty good shape. He shoved with the shorter stack, holding Ace-6 off-suit and was called by Poligraph, who held Queen-Jack off-suit. The flop came 2, Ace, 3, giving Inoriisss top-pair. The turn King gave Poligraph a straight draw, however, and Inoriisss would get the bad news as the river Ten eliminated him in second place. Poligraph was the beneficiary of a very timely runner-runner suckout and took down the big payout as well as the title of FTOPS XIII Main Event Champion.
FTOPS 13 continued over the weekend, starting on Friday at 2 p.m. with a $200 + $16 no-limit Hold’em 6-max tournament that drew 2,438 entrants. The prize pool was guaranteed at $400k and once again, the guarantee was exceeded. The final pool came to $487,600, with 270 places getting paid and a 1st place prize nearing $100k ($96,057.20).
This tournament was hosted by Full Tilt Pro Steve Wong, who ranks 3rd on the Netherlands all-time money list for professional poker players. He was of course joined by many other “Red Pros”, including Allen Cunningham, David Pham, Scott Fischman and Vitaly Lunkin. Several of them made it to the money, however, none were able to get very deep. The biggest winner for the Pros was Aaron Bartley – out in 107th place for $521.73. The final table of 6 came down to a mix of some very solid tournament players and a few relatively unknown players. One of these mostly unknown players, thekellster89, would go on to take down the title of FTOPS Event 20 champion and the $96k+ payday that came with it! There was no deal at the final table of Event 20. The final table deals have been a great new feature of this year’s FTOPS, as Full Tilt had rolled out their new software just before the start of the series.
