Northwest Press is thrilled to be working with the “delightfully sex-obsessed” Sam Saturday to release a digital collection of strips from his popular series “Load” entitled Why Do You Cry When I’m on Top? Straight, Gay, male, female: take your pick and Sam’s got something funny (and often sexy) to whisper in your ear.

“I love Sam’s Work,” says Northwest Press publisher Charles “Zan” Christensen, “So I was thrilled to have the chance to release a collection of his ‘Load’ strips. Sam’s delightfully blunt and hormonal take on omni-sexual goings-on is funny, sexy, and just plain wrong in all the right ways. Forget your sexual categories and leave your shame at the door and spend some time in his world!”

Sam Saturday began his career in the year 2000 by drawing the weekly comic strip “Load” for a college newspaper. Since then, he has published numerous books of comics, art and poetry. He lives in West Hollywood, California with his three cats. You can follow Sam Saturday on The Internet via his official website,
