Artist Bubi Canal hails from Santander Spain, now based out New York and is taking big bites out of the apple. His art work strikes me as multicultural-Sesame Street colored-walking canvases that have the potential of turning into sculptural fashions at any moment. Bubi Canal sports a desirable full beard, the kind you want to run your fingers through and hope to find an M&M or two (What!?!). From what I have gathered, he is sometimes a walking art installation of wacky, wonderful boyishly youthful outfits himself. This all makes sense after he tells me that, “costumes are very important in my art.” Take a peek at this New York City import’s art work that will give a taste of something new and exciting and you will most likely go back seconds.
