Join New York Times bestselling author of Smoke Gets In Your Eyes: and Other Lessons from the Crematory, Caitlin Doughty, and acclaimed writer and sex expert Conner Habib for a night of lively discussion about death and sex, moderated by The Body Well’s Dr. Mike Carragher.
Audience members will join in after the talk with a question and answer discussion including the panelists.

Caitlin Doughty is a licensed mortician and the author of the New York Times Bestseller, Smoke Gets In Your Eyes: and Other Lessons from the Crematory, which details her experiences in a California crematory. She’s founder of The Order of the Good Death, a group of funeral industry professionals, academics, and artists exploring ways to prepare a death phobic culture for their inevitable mortality.
Conner Habib is a writer, lecturer, and sex expert. His work has appeared in Salon, Slate, Vice, The Stranger, and more. In 2014, he was elected Vice President of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, which works to support and improve the lives and experiences of adult performers currently working in the industry. His book, Remaking Sex, will be released in 2015.
Dr. Mike Carragher is board-certified in Family Medicine with advanced training in Age Management and Hormonal Optimization. He is Founder and Medical Director of The Body Well, a medical clinic which provides quality health care with a focus on customized age management, hormonal optimization, aesthetics, prevention and well-being.
