Celebrate  Read Across America Day on March 2 and all month long! Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries and community centers participate by bringing together kids and teens with books! tpt is bring you the events and resources to get your kids excited about reading!

“The National Education Association’s Read Across America celebration is not just about one hour or one day of reading,” said NEA President Dennis Van Roekel.  “It is about cultivating a lifetime of good reading habits in students that will translate into academic success.”

Celebrate the 108th birthday of Dr. Seuss with a two-hour marathon of “The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That!

  • 8 a.m. on Fri. 3/2 on tpt 2
  • 1 p.m. on Fri. 3/2 on tpt 2
  • 8:30 a.m. on Sat. 3/3 on tptLIFE
  • 7 a.m. on Sun. 3/4 on tpt 2

The marathon features two new episodes: “Seasons – Spring and Summer/Fall and Winter” and “When I Grow Up/Doing It Differently” and two encore episodes: “Hooray for Hair/Ice Is Nice” and “Chasing Rainbows/Follow the Prints.”
