Anderson Cooper TV Show Dropped: Sad Face

Well this totally blows, but yeah the show wasn’t as good as Anderson is. We are big supporters of Mr Cooper and excited to see what he will do next.

Anderson Cooper, one of America’s most high-profile gay TV presenters, has expressed his disappointment at the cancellation of his daytime talk show.

Despite an attempt to revamp Anderson Live, producers Telepictures, a subsidiary of Warner Bros, confirmed on Monday evening that the programme would not be returning for a third season.

An unnamed TV executive blamed poor ratings.

Cooper, 45, said in a statement: “I am very proud of the work that our terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining our show for two seasons. I am also grateful to Telepictures for giving me the opportunity, and indebted to viewers, who have responded so positively.

“I look forward to doing more great shows this season, and though I’m sorry we won’t be continuing, I have truly enjoyed it.”

Cooper will continue to host his CNN news programme Anderson Cooper 360.

Last month, Cooper criticised TV presenter Star Jones, after she accused him of coming out as gay in order to boost ratings for his now defunct show.
